As one of my shots is very long, I have decided to shorten My overall piece. Instead of having extra shots (title and credit sequence) I am going to stick to just three shots. I have decided to continue with the tea cup, church fence and church. Recently visiting Biddy's tea room, I discovered a prop that I desired for my tea cup and took a photo on my Iphone Se. Using my phone, the proportion of the photo does not fit the standard screen size (1920x1080) . To fix this, I used Adobe Photoshop to make an illusion of the photo being taken in this screen size. Original photo took on my Iphone Using Photoshop, I used the quick selection tool to highlight around the tea cup then blurred the background using an Gaussian blur. To make the image appear bigger, using the eye dropper tool I selected the main colors and with a soft brush used the colours to add into the extended frame; which i then re did the section tool with the new added background and did anther blur. I then...

just need to add texture and glow in after effects to the crystals and any needed in-between. For the rest I need to highlight and shade the body, create textures for the skin to be added in after effects, neaten up some of the layers and facial features. Then I need to begin on the other two scenes, record sound for my dragon and folio sound for the nature and edit it all together for this project.

For my shots, I plan to have the dragon swerving in and out of the holes in the fence, firstly starting of very small. In the next shot, I want him to be much bigger twisting and swirling around the church, in the third shot he will his biggest, and will be dancing in the air, ascending up woulds until he evaporates in the clouds. In the very last shot of the moon, I plan to have texts describing the end of the cycle and maybe the dragon abstracted into stars or clouds, with the credits then playing.
Research into colours

In my research, I am searching for colours that are linked to promoting calmness and reducing anxiety and stress for my character, but also looking and contrasting colours for my other character, 'the negative fairy' that promotes these negative emotions such as depression, anxiety and stress. From my research, I have found evidence supporting my colour choices of white, violet, pink and turquoise/blue for my dragon- who I want to have the role of spreading calm and soothing energy. From my research, I found that violet (the colours I am using for the crystals on my dragon) has "powers" that 'signifies strength, peace, wisdom. Brings balance and inner peace' ( -https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/life-style/health-fitness/de-stress/7-relaxing-colors-and-how-they-affect-your-mood/articleshow/46946305.cms), it also 'relaxes the mind and body' (http://www.psyweb.com/articles/depression/color-therapy-for-depression/) and according to https://www.g...

The calming dragon is formed when he is needed. When someone is stressing, anxious or nervous; he forms in the first hot brew made. Forming out of the steam, he inhibits and releases positive vibes and a relaxing nature. Often not seen but felt, he roams distressing the environment. His natural enemy is bug fairies; whose purpose is to cause negativity, stress and worry. He begins his cycle as steam from a hot brew of calming tea, hot chocolate or coffee. Slowly increasing in size throughout the day. Once his job is done he will evaporate, returning once he is needed again.

Using the eye dropper tool, I have took key colours from my mood board to create a basic colour shceme for my character- although these colours will need shorting down and refining to make sure they stand out against the backgrounds and fit my characters purpose. I want my character to have a calming, relaxing, free nature to him. I think the neutral blues, pinks and purples would work really well. different shades of lilac and turquoise would be well fitting, often being colours to associated with helping those with depression or anxiety. initially these colours are supposed to have calming effects.

As I have an initial ideas for my bestiary character, I need to fianlse my design. So today, using google images of animals, crystals and photoshop I edited my creature roughly together. To help me see how it possibly could look, although in my designs it will all have the same skin textures all on the body parts. to create this one I used snakes, lizards, Japanese fighting fish and an image of a crystal. here is the rough edit: here is the photos I used;
